EMPC's physiotherapists are trained and experienced in the use of acupuncture and dry needling techniques to help alleviate muscle tension and pain.
Our physiotherapists are all Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) registered, and have undergone post graduate training in order to practice.
Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine stainless steel needles into the skin.
It has been used in China for over 2,000 years and increasingly in Western medicine since the 1970s.
