If you are struggling with foot, knee and back pain you have come to the right place. Our team of professional clinicians have the specialist knowledge and experience to resolve your problem. While our area of expertise is the lower limb, the physiotherapist and acupuncturists also treat general musculoskeletal conditions such as shoulder and neck pain.
The Podiatrists (Chiropodists) treat a wide range of problems from toenail disorders, corns and calluses to general foot pain by utilising specialist skills such as gait analysis. Our practitioners are registered with the Health care professions council (HCPC) which is recognised by health care insurers. Always ensure your chiropodist/podiatrist and physiotherapist is registered otherwise you risk being treated by someone who does not meet national standards of care.
The practice is managed by Podiatrists (Chiropodist) and Physiotherapist who work together to provide a comprehensive package of treatment. To ensure the best possible results we apply our skills, knowledge and experience in diagnosing the cause of your pain or problem and making a specific treatment plan for your individual needs and expectations.

When you attend for your first Podiatry, Chiropody, Physiotherapy or acupuncture appointment, you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire which asks for a brief medical history, any allergies and current medication (please bring a copy of your prescription).
It is important that this is accurate, as treatment may have to be adjusted depending on the medication you may be taking or your medical history.
For certain types of appointments quality of life questionnaires or other bench marking questionnaires and assessments may be used to help your clinician assess the effectiveness of any treatments used.

An ingrowing toenail is a condition where the skin is punctured or cut by the toenail, usually at the side of the nail.
This then leads to pain, swelling, redness and often infection and pus.
It is often common for the sufferer to cut down the side of the nail, this can temporarily relieve the pain.
Unfortunately, the skin folds around the remaining nail and as the nail grows up it will grow into the skin causing the repeat of the ingrowing toenail.
The causes of this problem are varied and is often a combination of several factors that lead to the ingrowing toenail.
