A W Physio
After graduating Coventry University in 2005 I began my career in the NHS working at the Queens Hospital in Burton on Trent. I gained a wealth of experience during this time treating a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders and also was involved in the Hand Therapy service within the hospital. In 2010 I decided to leave the NHS to work full time in Private Practice.

This has now evolved and a clinic based Physiotherapy service is now provided within Darcy Fitness at Bawdon Lodge Farm in Nanpantan on the outskirts of Loughborough. I specialise in all areas of musculoskeletal complaints and I have a strong interest in treating sports injuries. I am a keen runner myself, and due to complete my tenth marathon in October representing the England Masters team at the Yorkshire Marathon.

My other sporting interests include golf and football but finding time to fit all my sporting interests in with a young family proves challenging! I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Physio First, and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Services
Physiotherapy is a degree-based healthcare profession and it is useful in helping to restore normal movement and function following an injury.
It is a scientific based treatment approach where physiotherapists are able to use their knowledge and skills to treat the different systems of the body.
Physiotherapy is helpful for a wide range of complaints, whether you suffer with a long term condition or an acute injury.
If you have an ache or pain and you are not sure if physio is the right treatment for you contact us for free advice.
AW Physio was recommended to me after a shoulder injury 18 months ago and I have used the service numerous times since.
Tony is a fantastic Physio that always gets to the root of the problem!
Being a Personal Trainer I need to be able to work pain free and even if this can't be the case at times Tony always offers suggestions of exercises to speed up the healing process, which if I went to a GP I'd be told to "rest".
I have recommended Tony to a number of my clients with niggling issues, which he has resolved quickly and allowed them to return to training sessions.
