As physiotherapists teaching pilates we have a unique perspective on the way people move and a detailed knowledge of postural problems. We understand how bodies heal and we know how and when pilates can be safely used to improve recovery. We modify pilates exercises to suit the level and needs of the individual giving a personalised, clinical routine.

Quite simply our physiotherapists teach pilates in a safe, effective way to help anyone and everyone improve their posture and flexibility, increase core stability and move comfortably with better control and balance. I go to Michelle's classes as often as I can - brilliant sequences, great instructions, good verbal tips throughout so you can self-correct and know you're working exactly the right muscles.

Love it and highly recommend it. I have been attending Kathryn's pregnancy pilates class for the past two months - the class is friendly and gives a good chance to focus on moves which will help to maintain a healthy body throughout pregnancy.
Services
Rowan is an excellent teacher and explains exercises clearly, checks you carry them out correctly and provides useful feedback on how to improve.
Every class is different and new exercises are introduced whilst reinforcing or expanding on the old ones so that I feel that I have made good progress over the year.
Rowan's brilliant at explaining the movements and adapting exercises for me when necessary.
She's also very generous with advice about more general postural issues.
After attending her classes for a year my backache's gone and for the first time in 30 years my knees don't hurt when I walk downhill!
We have a range of classes from beginner through to advanced as well as older adults.
Whatever your experience, we recommend a private session with one of our physiotherapists first so we can assess your posture, flexibility and core strength to ensure that you get the most out of your class.
As part of this induction session, we'll send you some exercises with video links so you can practice at home.
A maximum of thirteen students in any one of our group classes means there really is close supervision and plenty of 'hands-on' teaching.
Whether your goal is to strengthen and tone your body, become more flexible or improve your posture, our physiotherapists will tailor your session to your individual clinical needs.
I just can't believe the progress I have made in only a few private sessions with Trudy at Pilatesfit.
I really am working so much harder as I understand exactly the position I should be in.
I am already noticing big improvements.
After hip surgery I had some private sessions initially to ensure I was exercising safely.
A happy and healthy workforce is more productive and on-site pilates classes run are a great way to invest in the wellbeing of your staff.
Our pilates classes are led by a close-knit team of experienced physiotherapists who share a 'hands-on' approach to teaching.
I was immediately impressed by Rowan's knowledge, professionalism and understanding of how to make pilates classes work successfully in an office environment.
I loved the freebie taster and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the on-site classes to anyone.
As a healthcare facility we will remain open to ease the burden on our GP surgeries and hospitals by helping people in pain who would be best served with physiotherapy.
We have a scrupulous cleaning and disinfecting policy in place and have in fact been carefully following best practice since the beginning of February.
We are also offering remote appointments by video link and our pilates classes are all moving online.
Please call us with any questions you may have and we will do our very best to help anyone struggling during this public health crisis.
