Physiofit Cambridge
Accurate diagnosis, effective treatment and successful rehab with a Physiotherapist in Cambridge. If you need to see one of us for physiotherapy or sports injury treatment, we stay open late during the week and we offer weekend appointments at our Cambridge clinic, so we'll be able to see you quickly and at a time that suits you. We have exceptional facilities, including a strength and conditioning gym and private pilates studio.

We offer a range of specialist services and the very latest medical techniques including shockwave therapy and Hyaluron injections. All our chartered physiotherapists are also trained to teach clinical Pilates and we offer online pilates classes which might be recommended as part of your rehab programme. Phone our dedicated Cambridge physio helpline on 01223 914140 and get straight through to a physio to discuss your condition and get immediate advice, without any charge.

We often send out short remedial exercise programmes for you to work on until you can see one of us for treatment and can advise which of our Physiotherapists would be the most appropriate person to treat your particular condition.
Services
Under the new lockdown, you are allowed to make and attend any medical appointments should you need them.
We are here to help, so please call us on 01223 914140 if you have any questions or would like to see a physiotherapist.
We are open from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday, offering both face to face and video appointments.
Our quiet, comfortable, air-conditioned treatment rooms are spacious and fully equipped for a wide range of physiotherapy treatments including acupuncture, shockwave, ultrasound and remedial massage.
Our free weights gym is fully air conditioned and offers a fantastic space for strength and conditioning, private, physiotherapist-led personal training and gait analysis.
Our Clinical Pilates studio is equipped with a reformer bed with tower, Pilates combo chair, a Swedish Ladder and a variety of small equipment including a spine corrector, Swiss balls, foam rollers, magic circles and a foot corrector.
Doctors often recommend pilates after an injury, surgery or illness as a safe, effective way to rehabilitate and begin exercising again.
Pilates exercises can help you to improve your posture and flexibility, increase core stability and move comfortably with better control and balance.
As physiotherapists teaching pilates we have a unique perspective on the way people move and a detailed knowledge of postural problems.
We understand how bodies heal and we know how and when pilates can be safely used to improve recovery.
Your first appointment will be an hour-long session giving us plenty of time to discuss what the problem is, how it's affecting you and what you want to achieve.
We'll ask you some questions about your medical history and complete a thorough physical examination to get to the heart of the problem.
We'll explain why you are experiencing pain and recommend the best treatment options.
Then we'll get straight on with treatment to relieve your symptoms and advise you on the things you can to do to help yourself.
Sports injuries respond really well to physio.
The treatment recommended will vary depending on how long you've had the injury, how severe it is and of course the type of sports injury.
If you've only just hurt yourself (acute sports injury) some of the early physiotherapy treatments we offer at our Cambridge clinic include ultrasound, sports taping, gentle joint mobilisations and sports massage.
Our physios will advise you on the things you can do to help your injury heal quickly and well.
We'll get you back to the sport you enjoy as fast as possible with an effective, graded rehabilitation programme - specifically designed for your sport - to prevent any further problems.
