You've been living with your Back, Neck, Knee or Shoulder pain for months or even years but now it's stopping you walking the fells, playing with your kids or grandkids or affecting your work. You've waited weeks to get a GP appointment but you've been told you need to rest, take painkillers or come back in 6 weeks if you're no better. Your partner, friends and family are tired of you going on about it and don't understand why you've not done anything about it.
We hear variations of this story every day. We know that fear of making the wrong decision, scepticism about whether physiotherapy will work for me and uncertainty about where to turn to for help are factors that prevent you getting the help that you deserve. You don't need to see your GP and we can offer appointments within 48 hours at our clinics in Kendal Town Centre and at Kendal Rugby Mintbridge Stadium.
Know exactly what the problem is and understand what you can do to improve your health. All patients recieve a personalised pain to performance programme that tells you what is wrong and provides a roadmap for your journey back to health and fitness.

Services
At Kendal Physio we understand that how pain and injury can affect your life and steal your identity whether is a runner who can't run or a parent or grandparent struggling to look after their child/grandchild.
Our goal is to treat the cause of the injury and give you the confidence to be the person you want to be.
Kendal Physio has been around for over 25 years and whilst the faces, and techniques we use, have changed over the years our aim of providing an excellent service to our patients to allow them to lead active, independent, outdoor lifestyles remains the same.

Physiotherapy helps people affected by injury, illness or disability through education, hands on manual techniques and exercise therapy.
During your initial assessment your therapist will listen to your story and ask lots of questions to find out what symptoms your suffering with and how they affect your life.
Some of the questions may seem a bit odd such as, asking about your sleep patterns, stress levels and about what you believe/or understand the problem to be.
That's because we know that these factors can have a big effect on your problem in combination with what's happening within your body.
