Our specialist team treat a wide range of conditions including all kinds of pain and injury. We offer treatments in a relaxed and professional setting and have helped thousands of people overcome their pain, discomfort or disability and regain their active lifestyle. Hayley trained at Manchester Royal Infirmary School of Physiotherapy, graduating in 1991 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.

She has always had a keen interest in the mechanics of the body, and has worked in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain management and hydrotherapy from the outset. She is always keen to help her patients get to the root cause of their problem, and therefore help to prevent future injuries, through correction of imbalances within the body, and correct biomechanics.

In recent years Hayley has also studied running gait analysis, so if you are an athlete struggling with injury, or just hoping to improve your personal goals, she can help and advise. Hayley trained in 2003 as an acupuncturist, which she has found an excellent tool to aid pain relief and help speed up recovery from injury.

The techniques we use might involve massage, mobilisation, manipulation, strengthening exercises, acupuncture, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy and postural reeducation.
Sports Massage is not just for the professionals.
It should be an essential part of a complete workout.
More and more people are realising that a complete workout routine includes not only the exercise itself, but also caring for the wear-and-tear and minor injuries that naturally occur with strenuous exercise.
The physiological and psychological benefits of massage make it an ideal complement to a total training program.
Incorporating massage in your training program has many benefits.
With regular treatment you are more able to sustain high levels of training and improved performance without causing an injury.
Pilates is a mind body conditioning exercise program that targets the deep postural muscles of the abdomen and spine to improve overall central core strength and posture.
The mind and body are brought together to achieve these aims through the following eight sound principles: concentration, centering, breathing, isolation, routine, precision, control and flowing movement.
Pilates suits all ages and fitness levels and is particularly beneficial for those with back pain, poor posture, sports injuries, arthritis, stress related illness and before and after pregnancy.
Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP) is common affecting 1 in 5 pregnant women and describes pain arising from the symphysis pubis joint, sacro-iliac joints and / or lumbar spine.
Pain can be experienced at the front or back of the pelvis, the lower back or abdomen and / or into the thighs.
Women can experience a range of different symptoms, which can vary in intensity and how much their ability to walk and function is affected.
Women with PGP need a qualified health professional to fully assess the pelvis and lumbar spine and give individual appropriate advice ante or postnatally.
