As a healthcare setting we have a legal and ethical duty of care to protect staff and patients, and to minimise any risk. Therefore, following guidance from our governing body and Public Health England, current PPE requirements will remain in place. All staff will wear appropriate PPE during your appointment, and we will require you to wear a face covering as well.
Strict infection control measures will continue to be implemented. Upon arrival at the clinic you should wait outside or in your car until your physiotherapist comes to get you. There will be hand sanitiser for you to use as you enter and exit the clinic. Where possible, you should attend the clinic alone. Payment should be made by card (contactless) or by BACS payment in the unlikely case that this isn't possible.
Cash will not be accepted. It is absolutely essential that you cancel your appointment if you become unwell in any way.

Since re-opening after lockdown we have incurred increased PPE and cleaning costs, coupled with a reduced capacity due to cleaning between each patient.
We have so far managed to avoid increasing our prices, but we are finding we have no option now but to increase the price of a physiotherapy session by 3.00 to cover our extra costs.
If you are being referred to us by your insurer, we will invoice them directly for the cost of your treatment.
We are recognised by all the major insurers including BUPA, AXA PPP, Cigna, Aviva, Nuffield Health, IPRS, WPA and Simplyhealth.

In addition to the full range of physiotherapy services offered at KPC, we also run some fitness classes at The Bragbury Centre, which is the excellent community centre here in Bragbury End.
We run two exercise classes a week for the over sixties.
These classes are run by two of our physios: Gloudien on Mondays at 1.45pm, and Diana on Wednesdays at 1.00pm.
The classes last about 45 mins and the exercises are designed to ensure all the joints and muscles in the body are worked.
We exercise in sitting, standing and walking positions so no-one has to get down onto the floor.
