Caledonian Physiotherapy Services
Caledonian Physiotherapy Services was founded in 1998 and we are now one of the largest physiotherapy providers in Perth and Kinross. Our team comprises of four physiotherapists with a wide range of professional experiences and interests. We are committed to providing care and treatment of the highest quality and our philosophy is one of helping our patients to help themselves.

Our treatment rooms are made for purpose and allow us to treat you in a nice and relaxing environment. Our site benefits from gym facilities just in case we need the treatment to be slightly less relaxing. We will try our best to fit you as quickly as possible and will generally offer you a slot within 48 hours if needed.
Services
We will assess you during your first appointment to ensure you receive the right treatment approach and once this is completed, we will explain to you what's going on and aim to start helping you straight away.
We work with a wide range of treatment techniques gained from numerous post-graduate courses and will use the most appropriate treatment techniques for you.
Each treatment or rehabilitation programme is personalised to suit your needs and goals.
We are hands-on physiotherapists and use massage and manual therapy (joint mobilisations and muscle stretching) where appropriate.
Sport injuries can be acute, chronic or on-going.
You can sometimes play on in spite of it but very often have to stop because of it.
The key here is to find the cause of the problem and fix it, but the cause may be not as obvious as it first appears to be.
Let us explain, injuries can have various possible causes.
A calf tear can be caused, for example, by a calf weakness, a problem of stability in your ankle or a lack of range-of-movement in your knee caused by a previous injury.
You need to get the right diagnosis to get the right treatment.
We know how difficult it is for patients and their close family to deal with these life-changing situations.
We also know than once discharged from hospital or once the diagnosis made, it can be difficult to get the right physiotherapy support.
We offer neurological physiotherapy for a wide range of patients and for both children and adults.
We understand that treatment expectations and goals are very different from one patient to another.
Our physiotherapists will work alongside the patients, their families and the other members of the multidisciplinary team to offer a personal and individual treatment.
There is nothing much we can do about your age but we can help you with what it brings with it.
Arthritis, neurological problems, balance and falls problems, decreased mobility and fractures are all common problems occurring with age and often several problems are present at once.
You therefore need people who are aware of this to help you.
Some of our physios are OTAGO trained and specialise in care of the elderly/neuro physiotherapy.
We understand that things tend to take a bit longer than they used to or that your confidence is not as good as what it was.
Nick has been busy recently in his role as a consulting ergonomist.
Nick uses his skills and experience to help make the workplace and the work carried out there safer, healthier and more efficient.
His work in this field ranges from larger contracts with organisations such as AXAPPP Ergonomics in banks, offices, workshops, warehouses, laboratories and farms to individual contracts for workers working at home or in small business situations.
So what's involved in the process, Nick receives referrals from clients where the employee is having issues with their work or workplace or a situation where an employee may be returning to work after illness, injury or disability and may need help to do this.
