We understand the impact that pain can have on your life, and aim to return you to full, pain-free function as quickly as possible and to prevent recurrence.
Our philosophy is to treat you uniquely, to be flexible to your specific circumstances and needs.
If you need to get back to work or sport, need rehabilitation after an operation, or are keen to reduce those daily aches - we can help.
Sports massage is the use of mechanical pressure techniques to stimulate the bodies' soft tissues with the aim of improving flexibility, reducing sensitivity and increasing recovery.
The bodies' circulation relies on pressure changes, by using mechanical pressure in massage we can alter relative pressures to stimulate circulation.
When you have a massage the area becomes warm and red indicating increased circulation.
Blood, lymph and other fluid is moved through the tissue.
This circulation can aid soft tissue recovery through new nutrients and blood flow brought into the tissue and old waste products being removed.

I would recommend Rich Thompson to anyone suffering with chronic pain or long term injuries.
I first saw Rich a year after a hip arthroscopy, and was still struggling with pain in my groin and lower back area.
Rich identified muscle weaknesses that were contributing to the pain, and after following his recommended exercises for a few weeks the pain disappeared completely and I was able to return to sport.
A year after that, I was training for an ironman and was getting achilles pain a few weeks out from the event.
