Riverside Physiotherapy
We are open for face to face consultations in our main clinic at the David Lloyd Club, Northwood. We continue to adhere to the advice from the UK Government, the NHS, and the guidelines from our professional bodies. Although we normally see patients from Northwood, Rickmansworth, Harrow, Pinner, Ruislip, Eastcote, Ickenham, Uxbridge, Harefield, Hillingdon, Harrow, Watford, Chorleywood and Beaconsfield, our Telehealth sessions allow us to treat patients from anywhere.

At Riverside Physiotherapy we don't just treat the problem, we treat the person. After a thorough assessment, we will find the underlying cause of your pain and alleviate your symptoms. Your personalised treatment plan is designed to improve your body's own natural healing mechanisms and prevent problems from recurring. Pain is healthy, acting positively to protect us and keep our bodies safe from more serious damage.

But how should you react to the alarm? Arthritis sufferers can exacerbate their condition by reducing their activity.
Services
Riverside Physiotherapy Sports and Spinal Clinic was established in 2000 in the excellent surroundings of the David Lloyd Health Club, one of North West London's leading health, racquets and lifestyle clubs.
For directions and contact information, please visit our Contact Us page.
Our practice has grown by referral, with a reputation for clinical effectiveness and professionalism.
We don't only treat the problem, we treat the person.
We are recognised providers for several major medical insurance companies, such as BUPA, AXA PPP, WPA, Aviva, and Vitality, along with many others.
Please wear loose clothing that allows you to move freely.
We will need to see the affected body part, so please bring shorts or a sleeveless t-shirt.
The number of sessions you may need will depend upon your injury.
Most patients only need 2-3 sessions, but 10-20 sessions may be required if you're recovering from major surgery.
Physiotherapists are medically trained health professionals, who help people suffering from injury, illness or disability.
We use movement, manipulation, exercise, manual therapy, education and advice, to facilitate your body's own natural healing ability.
You can benefit from physiotherapy at any stage of your life.
It can help with a variety of problems, from back pain, to sudden injury, or managing long-term medical conditions, such as arthritis, hypermobility or osteoporosis.
To accurately diagnose and treat your pain or injury, we will review your history to ensure that we understand how the problem affects you.
I have been referring my patients to Tracie Bolger and her team at Riverside Physiotherapy for several years now.
I have absolute faith in the abilities of the Riverside Physiotherapy team and have received nothing but positive feedback from my patients.
In Orthopaedics, the rehabilitation is often as important, if not more important, than the surgery - and I can think of no better team of physiotherapists to assess and treat orthopaedic and sports injury patients in our area.
I have been a regular patient of Riverside Physiotherapy for some years, and they have helped me through various injuries.
Tight or sore muscles are common, and can be caused by a range of things, from exercise, to spending too long in an unusual posture, such as gardening, or on a computer.
When muscles become overactive, they can cause pain, fatigue, headaches, and restricted movement.
Sports massage is one of the most effective ways to relieve muscle tightness.
It works both physically and mentally, by helping relax tight or overactive muscles and relieving stress.
It encourages relaxation, eases aches and pains, and increases circulation to speed up the healing process and keep you healthy.
