At Physio7, we also believe in getting to the root cause of your aches and pains. Our detailed examinations uncover the underlying problems that caused your problems, and we go to work on rectifying those issues. We strive to go beyond pain relief, and to leave you feeling fitter, stronger and more mobile. After all, you shouldn't have to simply cope, we want you to thrive.

To get to the bottom of chronic and persistent aches and pains, book your physiotherapy consultation in Ipswich today. 7 physio sessions with Chris over 4 months and I am now completely pain free for the first time in years. I'm now back to strength training and enjoying doing martial arts again. After years of near constant pain I still catch myself flinching every now and again expecting a huge jolt of nerve pain from my lower back, and being pleasantly surprised when it doesn't occur.

I've already recommended several people to Physio7 because they are that good. Chris manages to fuel my belief in my body and offers the treatment my body needs to achieve the things I want to achieve.
Services
Chris Spurling is the founder of Physio7.
He qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Manchester University and learned his trade as a physio in the Manchester area, treating clients from the NHS, private practice, employee health schemes and Sale Harriers Athletics Club.
In 2005 Chris became a Master of Manual Therapy at the renowned University of Western Australia.
The Masters course emphasises the importance of excellent examination skills and advanced handling, mobilisation and manipulation skills.
Recovering from injury is not always a simple process, so we take care of the complex stuff to make it as simple as possible for you.
We believe in a thorough assessment so that we can understand you, your body and your injury.
We then explain things to you in simple English so that you understand it too.
We also believe that, when done expertly, simple treatments are usually the best.
That means mobilising stiff joints, releasing and stretching tight muscles, controlling and coordinating your movement patterns, strengthening weak muscles, teaching you good postures and habits, and guiding you step by step through the rehabilitation process.
Persistent back pain can be debilitating and frustrating to live with.
The truth is, it is often impossible to identify the tissues causing your pain, even with a scan.
For that reason, you may feel you aren't fully believed by health professionals, or they may have told you that nothing can be done to help.
First we'll do our level best to identify which sensitive tissues cause your pain, then we'll find ways to offload those tissues and relieve pain.
If he finds joint dysfunctions, Physio Chris has over 20 years' experience of performing skillful joint and soft tissue manipulation to realign you.
Whether you're a sub-three hour marathon runner pushing for a new personal best, a Sunday jogger trying to shake that nagging injury or you are just attempting your first run round the block, we believe we can help.
Physio7's Chris Spurling is now an ultra marathon runner despite being something of a 'biomechanical mess'!
He has worked out how to improve his own running style and train sensibly so that he is able to run further than marathon distances regularly.
He loves helping those people who run with inefficient and potentially harmful running patterns, and guiding them through the rehabilitation process.
If you have an injury that makes it difficult to run comfortably, book in for a standard 45 minute assessment (60 minute session if you have 2 or more injuries) so that we can get treatment under way.
If you have a persistent problem but you can run comfortably, it is best to book a Runners MOT (90 minutes).
This gives us time to fully assess the injury, check for underlying problems, assess your running style, and get treatment and rehab under way.
If you do not have an injury, and simply want to reduce your chances of getting injured, book in for the Runners MOT (90 minutes).
