Our physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice, and are registered with the Health Professions Council. They have all been qualified for more than five years and continue to further their professional development by attending regular external courses and internal lecture sessions.

All our physiotherapists are recognised by the major Health Insurance Companies. Welcome to The Cloisters and to the terrific team of people who work here. I have worked at The Cloisters for more than 20 years and was delighted to be able to take on the Business when the former owner Ruth Cowan decided to retire completely. At The Cloisters we aim to provide the highest quality experience to all our patients from the moment they walk in to reception to the completion of their treatment.

We are a Clinic that focuses on hands-on treatment accompanied by clear explanations of the problem as we see it and how we intend to address it.
Services
At The Cloisters, we take pride in providing safe, effective treatment in a friendly, caring environment.
Our team of Physiotherapists all have a minimum of five years experience since they graduated, and many have considerably more.
All have gone on to develop specialised skills covering a wide range of conditions - when you make an appointment, we will take great care to ensure that you are matched with the most appropriate team member.
On your first appointment your physiotherapist will examine you carefully to establish what the problem is and the best way of dealing with it.
The Cloisters can offer our clients a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and treatment in the comfort and convenience of their home where clients cannot travel to the clinic.
Our Physiotherapist profiles can be viewed here.
The domiciliary service (home visit) is for anyone who cannot travel to the Clinic.
It may be because your condition prevents you from accessing the Physiotherapy Clinic, you have no transport or lift available, you cannot leave the house due to having regular carers, or your goals of treatment are best met in the home environment.
The Cloisters Physiotherapy clinic are pleased to be able to offer remote consultations to existing and new patients via Skype, Facetime, Zoom and Whatsapp during this time of social distancing and self-isolation.
We are also able to offer phone consultations if you prefer.
We have a secure and safe environment from which we work and we ask if you can also find a place at home where you would be comfortable discussing your problem and also undressing if needed so we can assess the problem area.
At The Cloisters Sports Injury Clinic in Leamington Spa we have a special interest and expertise in the treatment of Sports Injuries.
Sports injury screening, treatment and rehabilitation are undertaken in our well equipped on-site Physiotherapy gym.
Following a detailed assessment of your condition, a clinical diagnosis will be made and an individually tailored treatment and exercise plan developed.
Our aim, whether the Injury is acute, repetitive or post surgical, is to help you return to your chosen sport in the shortest possible time and to help you to achieve your maximum sporting potential.
At The Cloisters we only practise Western Medical Acupuncture, exclusively for the relief of pain.
It is usually provided as part of a tailored pain management programme, working alongside other treatments such as exercise, postural advice, joint mobilisation and soft tissue massage.
Acupuncture works by stimulating the release of certain natural chemicals within the body, reducing inflammation and promoting healing.
It is very effective at treating soft tissue injuries and can also be used as an adjunct to the treatment of sports injuries.
