Services
Severe abdominal pain can be caused when any of the muscles in the abdominal wall are injured by over-stretching or, occasionally by constant or repetitive muscle use.
It is also possible that your pain has been referred from the lower or mid back.
Physiotherapy can assist with your severe abdominal pain from mild strains to pulled muscles however it cannot help with organic origin pain such as gastric ulcers or kidney problems.
Paragon Physiotherapy will provide a complete assessment, ensuring the initial cause of the abdominal pain is located, followed by a course of treatment that will both reduce the pain and ensure you have the knowledge to manage / alleviate future problems.
Paragon Physiotherapy can provide a diagnosis for your elbow pain.
We don't just treat the pain, we provide a full diagnosis in order to alleviate the possibility of a reoccurrence.
As you can imagine, the elbow is the most common place for repetitive strain injuries.
This is due the amount of work we put through our hands and wrists.
Paragon Physiotherapy will provide you with a complete assessment, ensuring the initial cause of the problem is located, followed by a bespoke course treatment that will both reduce your pain and ensure you have the knowledge to manage / alleviate future problems.
Possible physiotherapy diagnosis of your foot, ankle or achilles pain and relevant treatments:.
The foot and ankle are complex structures and, if you consider that with each step we take (typically 8,000 - 10,000 steps a day), a force of 2-3 times our body weight is placed on our feet, it comes as no surprise that, at some time in our lives, we will all suffer from some type of foot pain.
Underlying issues often contribute to the development of foot and ankle pain hence the need for an accurate diagnoses of not only the injury but also the reason behind the injury occurring.
Headaches affect almost two thirds of the population with the majority of suffers using pain relief tablets.
However; there is hope that you do not need to suffer indefinitely.
Significant clinical evidence and research confirms that many headaches arise from stiffness in the joints of the upper neck.
Booking an assessment at Paragon Physiotherapy may well be the start of your pain free path.
We never simply treat the pain, the reason behind the pain is crucial.
The initial assessment will pinpoint the reasons behind you pain, followed by a bespoke course of treatment to alleviate it.
Possible physiotherapy diagnosis of your hip, groin or buttock pain and relevant treatments:.
Hip, Groin & Buttock pain is complex due to the sheer number of structures which converge into this area.
There are muscles from both the legs and the trunk, as well as ligaments and tendons, a complex ball and socket joint and many blood vessels and nerves passing into the legs and pubic area.
Some people may feel pain in the hip, groin, lower back, abdominals or legs.
This is because the hip and groin 'refer pain', which is where pain experienced in one area of the body is actually generated in another region.
