It is estimated that back pain costs the UK one million years of lost productivity each year.
They say there are three sure things in life - death, taxes and back pain!
Our team of physiotherapy specialists use a wide variety of treatment techniques to help our clients.
Dry Needling works with the body's natural healing process to reduce pain and allow proper movement.
Dry needling is not acupuncture, it is based on what we know of anatomy, physiology, pathology and biomechanics.
This involves applying direct pressure or a stretch over joints of the body and to the vertebral bodies of the spine.
We assess each client individually to decide the type of mobilisation and the grade that we use.
Gentle grades are used to ease pain whilst stronger grades are used to help reduce stiffness and improve joint mobility.
Types of mobilisations we use at PhysioWorks are Maitland mobilisations, McKenzie mobilisations, Mulligan techniques and AIM.
