He is a Physiotherapist and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. He has worked within the NHS in Edinburgh for four years. At this time he developed an interest in sports physiotherapy working with Leith Academicals Rugby team and Hibernian Football Club. In 1997 he moved to Celtic Football Club where he has worked with many top professional footballers.
Neil set up his private practice in Burnside in 2002 and has recently expanded to East Kilbride in early 2007. He is currently the sports physiotherapist for Scottish Cycling.
