Please contact the clinic on 01727 850925 to discuss your particular needs. You will receive a call back if we are dealing with another client and you leave contact details for yourself on our answerphone system. Based in Hertfordshire, Physio2go provides a full range of physiotherapy services in our clinic, the privacy and convenience of your own home or in supervised residential settings.

Our clinic based physiotherapists will assess your physical problems and provide practitioner delivered manual therapy as indicated and backed up by a fully explained, demonstrated and practised exercise programme. They have the experience and expertise to work with you to maximise your efforts towards recovery. Physio2go's physiotherapists are all members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health Professions Council.

Our therapists have post graduate training in their specialist areas of practice. We are delighted to announce the arrival of Alan Wong to Physio2go. Alan's expertise is in sports injuries, having been the team physiotherapist of the Hong Kong Football National Team and Hong Kong National Volleyball Team and he has an interest in manual therapies.
Services
The clinic is located on the first floor accessed via a staircase (with handrails on both sides).
For those patients unable to manage the stairs we have access to rooms in Parkbury Medical Centre (notice is required).
Our physiotherapists are all highly trained and are experts in the assessment and treatment of all musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
We have a team of nine therapists led by Mark Adshead.
The team consists of Fiona Jacobsen who in addition specialises in acupuncture; Paul Carter who is a sports injuries specialist combining his work at Physio2go with being Head of Medical Services at Cambridge Rugby Union Club; Alan Wong also has strong background in treating sports injuries having been the team physiotherapist of the Hong Kong Football National Team and Hong Kong National Volleyball Team.
Mark qualified from Manchester Withington School of Physiotherapy in 1983.
After working in hospital based practice in both the NHS and private sector, he established his private practice in St Albans Hertfordshire in 1990.
Mark has a wealth of experience in treating sports injuries.
He has travelled extensively with international hockey teams (England Indoor, England U21, Wales Ladies) and club sides (St Albans) competing in European competitions.
In his younger years Mark was a key member of national competition winning hockey sides.
After a short break to have a family Fiona then worked at the Bupa Hospital Harpenden (now Spire Harpenden) for 6 years followed by 15 years in a private practice in Old Welwyn.
During the last 28 years she has specialised in working with patients presenting with acute or chronic musculoskeletal conditions, joint surgery and trauma.
I believe that following a thorough assessment a physiotherapist should work together with his/her patients, setting realistic targets and time lines.
This helps to structure the patient rehabilitation and facilitates recovery.
Susie worked in St Albans in sports development, as a swimming teacher and later got the chance to work as a generic therapy assistant in cardiac rehabilitation & neurology.
She won a place as a mature physiotherapy student at Hertfordshire University, and has continued developing her skills training in Pilates & acupuncture.
Her experience also includes working with acute orthopaedics & complex chronic conditions, un/explained falls, dementia or special needs, sensory or respiratory impairment, potential & advanced life-limiting conditions.
Rachel qualified in 1986 with a BSc Honours degree in physiotherapy from the Royal London Hospital.
She worked in London, Canada and Germany before moving to Hertfordshire in 1996, and has over 25 years of experience working in hospital, private practice and the community.
Rachel specialises in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, and also has a particular interest in neurological conditions and their treatment, particularly in a community setting.
I believe that every person should be treated as an individual.
