Jackie specialises primarily in the treatment of musculoskeletal (muscles and joints) problems including the rehabilitation of these issues allowing a swift return to work or to your specific sport. Injuries treated will range from day to day spinal or muscular ailments, after surgical intervention, specific sporting injuries or movement pattern requirements.
Jackie qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1986. Previously she worked as a Physical Education Teacher in Birmingham, gaining her B.Ed degree from Anstey C.P.E and Birmingham University. Professional interests in sports medicine and human movement subsequently developed from experiences of personal injury and training through representing GB and Wales in the Javelin and also as a Welsh Netballer.
Jackie worked as a Senior Physiotherapist in the NHS for many years where she further developed the manual therapy standards in herself, the staff and students on clinical placements. In 1998 Jackie became a private practitioner whilst still being involved with a multitude of international events/tournaments.
