Back pain can arise for a number of different reasons, although up to 85% is diagnosed as non-specific. Common factors that may result in symptoms range from simple soft tissue strain and poor posture to lack of exercise and stress. Repetitive strain can occur in work and sport. It covers a multitude of different musculoskeletal conditions and is usually caused by bad posture, which can cause pain, a sense of heaviness, numbness, tingling and weakness.

Acute injuries if not treated properly may turn chronic and be more difficult to treat. Treatment includes a full assessment and soft tissue mobilisation and electrotherapy, as appropriate. Our primary focus is to restore function and improve your quality of life through caring, skillful and personalised applications of physiotherapy services for clients of all ages.

Sports injuries can not only knock your training schedule but can also knock your confidence. We are here to rebuild that confidence to get you back into action quickly. Pilates can help improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility, as well as relieve stress and tension.
