We are a friendly, family run Physiotherapy practice, based on the Wirral since 2014. We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and are specialists in sport and exercise Physiotherapy. Our team of experienced specialists provide expertise in a variety of areas to meet your healthcare needs. I attended Chris Malkin Physiotherapy 4 weeks after a Total Knee revision with very limited flexion and extensions.
Chris identified the problems straight away and began an intensive rehabilitation programme. His understanding of my particular problem was excellent. 4 weeks later and I have made significant progress. I can now cycle and my walking has improved greatly. Throughout the process, Chris (and Sharon) have hurt me, pushed me, encouraged and supported me at the appropriate times and to the appropriate levels.
Overall, it's been a fantastic service from a local, family run business that I cannot recommend highly enough. It is just 7 weeks since my second replacement knee and I was out walking without a limp or a stick!

Acupuncture is a branch of traditional medicine that has been practised in China and the far east for thousands of years.
It has been developed, tested, researched and refined to give a detailed understanding of the body's energetic balance.
Without the benefit of modern scientific equipment, the first acupuncturists discovered many now familiar aspects of biomedical science, such as the impact of emotional stress on the body.
Traditional acupuncture has steadily grown in popularity in the UK since the 1970s.

Reflexology is a non-invasive natural therapy which dates back to around 2500 B.C.E. in Egypt and China.
This practice is based on the method of applying pressure to specific areas of the feet or hands - which mirror different parts or organs of the body.
Reflexology has been around for nearly 5000 years, and would have disappeared long ago if it was ineffective, in fact, medical trials are now proving its benefits.
Reflexology is a holistic therapy where the whole body is treated, not just the symptoms you may be experiencing.
