Recently, whilst having my regular lower back physio with Paul, I thought I’d ask him about the discomfort in my finger on my right hand that was getting very painful ,most uncomfortable and causing sleepless nights and for such a long time, he immediately said, I had got trigger finger and said he could definitely help me with, showed me everything he would be doing on screen, so I made an appointment 13/12/23. He showed me line of fluid at bottom joint of finger and same below on palm, he injected some cortisone in that area and gave me a follow up app 22/12/23.
After initial slight discomfort from injection which ceased after 2 days, I can move it anyway I want squeeze all fingers into the palm and got full grip to open cans bottles etc and the most important thing, my hobby of sewing, I was getting very worried as I’m right-handed and coming up to 80yrs that I wouldn’t be able to do it anymore and had put up with it for such along time.
On the follow up appointment Paul was as delighted and surprised as myself, that it had made such a quick recovery, but to be honest Paul has been a genius Physiotherapist with my back problems and now this, I should have known his expert knowledge healing hands would be able to do the trick. I’ve had a pain free Christmas and know I’m going to have A Happy & Healthy 2024.

I have been seeing Sarah Brownhill over the last 6 months or so. The purpose of my visits were to help a pain in my leg I had when I ran. Before my visits I had this problem for around two years or so. After my 6 month programme I have no issues, this is the healthiest I have felt in my life.
The entire team is friendly, welcoming and professional. They told me explicitly about the student discount available to me and once my programme was complete they made it clear that I didn't need to come again, unless I have anymore problems in future. Sarah is passionate about her job and genuinely cares about improving the health of her clients.
For anyone who has a slight twinge of pain that won't go away or an injury etc. I cannot recommend the physios enough. It is well worth the price when considering the expertise and 1-to-1 bespoke treatment you receive.

I have had a recurring rotor cuff injury over the last decade and had mixed results in self care and physiotherapy in the past. I had not previously used The Physios until they were personally recommended by a family member. Over an initial consultation and number of sessions I feel I now have full recovery and a number of methods to relieve pain and reduce the chances of the problem returning. This is due to the excellent knowledge of Sarah and her ability to determine the causes and appropriate treatment. She has been professional and very friendly in her approach with positive support to complete exercises to reduce and remove the injury symptoms completely. I would highly recommend Sarah and The Physios to anyone needing physiotherapy in not only Sheffield but also prepared to travel for the best treatment. Thanks.
