Tap into the most up to date sports medicine treatment and rehabilitation that up to now, only Premier league footballers have had access to. From trigger point needling to gait running analysis, our physiotherapists tailor your treatment to you. Fast access to private physiotherapy at a convenient location in Blackpool, just minutes from the M55 motorway.

We're certified by the CSP, MACP and HCPC, so you can be confident in our recommendations. Jam Physio is a Blackpool-based physiotherapy practice, founded by respected physiotherapist James Murphy (BSC Hons, M.M.A.C.P, H.C.P, S.R.P) to provide the people of the Fylde coast with the kinds of treatments and rehabilitation usually only available to elite athletes.

A regular spokesperson for physiotherapy, James drew upon his extensive experience in treating premier league footballers when founding Jam Physio. From working under Sam Allerdyce at Bolton Wanderers, he followed Sam to Newcastle United, before heading up the sports medicine and science department at Manchester City.
Services
Found just minutes from the M55, Jam Physio brings the highest standards of physiotherapy to the Fylde coast.
We're also a stone's throw from Blackpool's iconic pleasure beach and tower, as well as being a short walk from either the Blackpool Pleasure Beach or Blackpool South rail stations.
We know it can be hard to find time to fit physiotherapy into your hectic schedule - that's why we offer fast, convenient appointments at a central Blackpool location.
Our chartered physiotherapists, headed up by former premiership football physio James Murphy, provide expert, tailor-made treatment to help you recover from sports injuries and common health conditions that may be causing pain and discomfort or hampering your mobility.
We've broken our rehabilitation process down into five distinct steps.
This helps both our patients and therapists keep track of progress - and tailor objectives along the route to recovery.
Using either exercise, physical therapy or manual therapy (or a combination), your therapist will start by focusing their efforts on reducing any pain and swelling.
Applying ice and plenty of rest are also key in this phase of recovery.
Playing a key role in setting you up for further work, these therapeutic techniques can act as the perfect complement to more traditional treatments, like medication.
Before we can start treatment, you will need to register with us.
You can register with us when you make your first booking over the phone or by completing our online appointment form.
Once you've requested your first appointment, we'll send you a confirmation email which will contain your appointment and registration details.
It's worth double-checking that we have all your details correctly - and let us know ahead of your appointment if anything needs to be changed.
The email will also have a link to a pre-consultation questionnaire, an important tool for us to understand your health before we go ahead with any treatment.

Muscular aches and pains are incredibly common.
Everyone has experienced the dull pain after a particularly strenuous workout, or the burn of a pulled muscle the day after lifting something heavy.
Involving just a small area or your whole body, the level of pain can also vary from mild to excruciating.
Usually resolving themselves quite quickly, occasionally muscle pain can linger for months, and can affect anywhere in the body, including your neck, legs, back and even your hands.
Usually caused by any muscle strain, injury or tear through tension, stress and overuse, muscle pain is usually localised to just a few muscles or a specific area of the body.
