Qualified in 1983 from Wolverhampton School of Physiotherapy.
Initially worked 18 months at New Cross Hospital, then moved to Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham to specialise in cold orthopaedics and endoprosthetics.
One year later became Senior Physio in Accident/Emergency Hospital, Birmingham specialising in Trauma/Multiple Injuries and Sports Injuries.
In 1987 he moved to BUPA Little Aston to develop a sports injury clinic where he met Neil Jones and then started their own clinic in Wolverhampton.
