Within the surroundings of a lovingly restored Victorian terrace, we assess and treat a range of conditions at an affordable price. We aim to bring pain relief and a return to function in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Established in 2004 Goodacre Physiotherapy is located in central Sunderland and has good access via bus or metro, with free parking at the rear of the practice.
Inside, a classic djcor coupled with spacious rooms create a pleasant atmosphere in which to relax and be looked after.
Sam graduated from Northumbria university in 1999 with a bachelor of science degree in physiotherapy.
With a junior post at North Tyneside Hospital he experienced many aspects of patient care, from intensive care and surgical wards to out patient clinics and exercise classes.
A full documented history of how and when your problem began will be taken, along with any relevant past medical history, medication, and the effect on either your social or working life.
The physiotherapist will then observe your posture and range of movement, whilst undertaking any specific tests necessary to assist in the diagnosis of your problem.
An explanation of your condition, anatomy involved and the healing process will be in a manner you can understand but you may ask questions at any time.
Over the last 16 years Goodacre Physiotherapy has serviced both the public and private sectors in both the local community and nationwide.
We continue to receive referrals from various suppliers, and currently providing physiotherapy for the employees of Gen Too.

Required reports are undertaken within 24 hours and regular informal communication between both parties is encouraged.
We are covered appropriately by both public and professional liability insurance.
A two minute walk up the road from the park lane interchange in Sunderland, we are easily accessible by metro or bus.
We also have private parking at the rear of the practice.
Whatever you feel comfortable in, but be aware that the therapist may need to expose the affected area in order to carry out an effective assessment or treatment.
With this in mind, shorts are advisable for conditions of the lower limbs.
This will depend on your presenting condition and how it responds to treatment and home care.
