Services
I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2001from Leeds Metropolitan University.
I started my career working in the NHS in Calderdale.
During my time at Calderdale, I worked with Rugby Union teams at both National League and county level and also Wakefield Wildcats RLFC.
In 2004 I left the NHS to pursue a career in private practice and to achieve my ambition to provide the residents of Calderdale with the physiotherapy service that they deserved.
My mission was to offer comprehensive physiotherapy assessments carried out by experienced clinicians in a friendly and efficient manner.

I will then offer advice, support, self-management strategies and home exercises as appropriate.
These exercises will be emailed to you.
Please be assured that after almost 20 years of being a qualified physiotherapist I generally know what is wrong with a patient in clinic at the end of taking a detailed subjective history (the talking bit) and the physical examination just strengthens my diagnosis.
Therefore there is no difference between doing this over the phone or in person at the clinic.
The cost of the telephone consultation and virtual follow ups are 40 each for 30 minutes.

At Back to Fitness Physiotherapy we have a very 'hands-on' approach to treating spinal, joint and muscle problems.
Typically we will use a combination of manual therapy (joint mobilisations, manipulations and soft tissue techniques) depending upon your specific injury requirements to get you 'Back to Fitness' as soon as possible.
From your first session you will be given exercises to perform at home to speed up your recovery and prevent relapses.
These exercises will be progressed as your symptoms improve.
