AIM Physiotherapy pride ourselves on the level and quality of care we offer to all of our patients. Unlike some other physiotherapy clinics, you don't have to be a sportsperson or competitive athlete to benefit from our help. If you have a new pain in a joint/muscle or bone that is not 'just going away' or a previous problem that has not been seen by a therapist within the past six months then you may benefit from seeing a physiotherapist. If you have symptoms that have not responded to recent treatment or you are concerned by any changes in your symptoms then speak to your GP.

Aim Physiotherapy treat a variety of conditions and symptoms ranging from acute post-operative rehab to treatment of long standing pain and chronic conditions. We use a wide variety of the most evidence-based treatment techniques to aid your recovery.
Services
Established in 2009 by Mark Humphreys and Isobel Foden, AIM Physiotherapy was initially ran from our clinic in Macclesfield where we treated a wide variety of clients and injury types.
As our business expanded and reputation grew, AIM Physiotherapy were recruited by several Eastern Cheshire GP surgeries to remodel and manage their in-house primary care physiotherapy services.
After six successful years in primary care, AIM Physiotherapy are expanding our private practice with the opening of a new clinic in Hale, Cheshire.
Wrist and Hand - Tendinitis of the hand and wrist is often caused by repetitive work or sports activities.
There are many preventative measures that our physiotherapists can help you with such as warm-up activities and training/rehabilitation programs, alongside treatments to ease any swelling and pain that you experience as a result of these conditions.
Elbow - Most people who experience tennis or golfers elbow have never played either of these sports.
They are conditions that occur following repetitive movements that can be more commonly seen after decorating, doing DIY or using a mouse.

In addition to helping with pain relief, tissue healing and rehabilitation of muscle, joint and nerve conditions, we also help patients prevent the return of their symptoms.
Physiotherapists use a range of techniques including movement and exercise, manual therapy (moving your joints), soft tissue mobilisation (such as massage), electrotherapy, acupuncture and education and advice.
We may also advise you on changes to lifestyle.
